Stereoscopy – Photography and Filming in 3D
Welcome to the German Society for Stereoscopy (DGS)! The DGS is a non-profit organisation founded in 1928 and promotes the spread and knowledge about three-dimensional images.
Become a member and meet regularly with other stereo-3D enthusiasts. Exchange experiences, view stereoscopic photo and video shows or maybe only get started with 3D and learn how to make your own 3D images.
The DGS with its approximately 500 members unites knowledge from all fields of stereoscopy, be it photo or video, analog or digital, whether printed stereocards, red/cyan anaglyphs, large-scale projection or playback with a 3D-TV at home, as a beginner or professional photographer, artist, scientist or a technology geek. The interests of our members are very diverse, so that an active exchange with like-minded people is possible.

A Site for Photographers by Photographers
The wanton destruction of projectors and other related professional film equipment prompted in 1978, a few like minded preservationists to form The Projected Picture Trust. The proposals were not only to locate the equipment being destroyed, but to renovate, preserve and exhibit it for the enjoyment of the public at large. In other words, these people wanted to preserve the magic of cinema.
The best first resource for collectors and historians, providing information and articles on antique cameras, vintage classic cameras, and the history of photography, as well as appraisals, sales services, and public outreach programs.
