The Camera Site

Once upon a time…

A beginning for a collection a German, Glunz (Glunz, Hannover, Germany) plate camera and a Justophot “exposure meter”.
Today the number is over 200 old cameras, their specifications, pictures and descriptions.
Several photography related articles and links to the helpful and interesting sites opens up an entertaining and rewarding trip to the world of the photography before bits and bytes.
This collection or may I call it a Vintage Camera Museum consists of various camera types and camera brands. Most of them, are not so called “collectibles” but I hope that on some page you will find the information that you are looking for.

Welcome to my website celebrating the 120/620 twin-lens reflex camera and its history. I continue to add things, so “bookmark” and come back. The TLRs are in my collection, and I’m keen to hear from anyone who can tell me more (or has something new for the collection). If I have something wrong, let me know. There is a links page, but websites change frequently. If a link doesn’t work, search in Google – if it’s still around, you should find it. Either way, let me know. There’s also a page of information sources used.

Dabei sind die Produkte des Hauses ROBOT vielfältiger und innovativer, als gemeinhin bekannt. Zahlreiche Kamera-Modelle, Objektive und Zubehör-Teile werden hier vorgestellt.

Antique Soviet Camera

Antique Soviet Camera resource for camera collectors.

Hi! My name is Valdis and I live in Ukraine. I am not very old, in any case, not like my Fatherland and my beautiful Rivne town. There’s nothing outstanding in my life, except for education, given to me by my beloved Parents. They also build up that base, which supports me in my everyday life, giving me strength and faith. I finished art school, have a higher education, has gone through inflations and perestroika. I like scubadiving, fishing, sport activity.
