Edwin Schweitzer was a man of precision. He is highly respected for his Resto Strips – detailed descriptions of restorations for Porsche 356 in comic book format.

Edwin was passionate about restoring 356 Porsches as original as possible. He shared his “how-to’s” through 34 publications in the Porsche 356 Registry magazine. His articles were a mix of pictures and text in comic book format, covering the smallest details of original Porsche parts. And of course how to restore those old worn parts to better-than-original condition. Unfortunately Edwin is no longer with us. But his son Joris continued his Porsche passion and bundled his father’s Resto Strips in a magnificent limited edition book. So you don’t have to dig up all those club magazines anymore. For now, only 50 numbered copies of this unique book have been printed.

To get your personal copy of Edwin Schweitzer’s “Resto Strip” book in luxury binding: click the button above. You will be redirected to the Resto Lab website of his son Joris Schweitzer. What others say……

“Some of us 356 Registry members (at least I was one of them), would rip open de packaging as soon as the club magazine arrived, look up Edwin’s Resto Strip, and be delighted to learn how to professionally restore yet another 356 part to a level beyond normal standards. Today I received the book and truly: it’s above expectations. Well worth the price” PK, May 2020
